four materials, and nothing else
No pesticides, no synthetic fertilisers, no chemical or toxic dyes. The colour you see is the colour the fibre already was ~ this is the whole reason a piece costs what it costs.
- 01
kala cotton
Handwoven on a loom, rain-fed, grown without irrigation. Durable, resistant and flexible.
- 02
organic cotton
Soft against the skin, breathable, and grown without anything that poisons the ground.
- 03
bamboo
Cool to wear, naturally antibacterial, and it grows back faster than almost anything.
- 04
banana fibre
Made from the stem that is thrown away after the fruit is picked. Light, and quietly strong.
how to look after it
Natural fibres are simple to care for, if you treat them gently.
Hand wash in cold water with a mild, natural soap
No bleach, no fabric softener ~ they do not need it
Dry flat or on a hanger, out of direct sun
Iron on low heat if you want it crisp, inside out
These are general guidelines for organic, undyed fabric. If you are ever unsure about a specific piece, message us and we'll tell you exactly how we wash ours.

This is why a piece from us costs more than one from a shelf that dyes and floods a field to grow cotton fast. You are paying for the field that got to rest.
